3 things to do in hainan

Hainan, the southernmost point in China, is an island province known for its tropical climate, beach resorts and forested, mountainous interior. Is it worth a visit? You bet. And when you go, here are three things to do.

1. NANSHAN TEMPLE

Situated 25 miles from Sanya City, Hainan Province, the Nanshan Temple (South Mountain Temple) ranks as one of the attractions in the Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone. Occupying an area of 66 acres, it is the biggest Buddhist preaching site established since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. With its total floor space of 40,000 square meters (10 acres), this temple boasts several replicas of Tang Dynasty (618-907) architecture.

2. SANYA ROMANCE PARK

Sanya Romance Park is comprised of 225 acres, offering more than 30 entertainment options. Combining Sanya’s Tianya Culture, Li and Miao culture, and many other Sanya customs, the theme park consists of special attractions, including Sanya Qianguqing Grand Theater, Yazhou Ancient City Cultural Theme Park, Elephant Valley, the Li and Miao Village Cultural Experience Area, Valentine’s Valley, Children’s Playground, Banyan Bar, Triangle Plum Seafood Stall, South China Sea Goddess Cultural Square, and much more. There is fun for the whole family!

3. YANODA TROPICAL RAINFOREST

A series of trails and aerial walkways encircle the park allowing visitors to wander through the forest at their leisure. Audio guides are available in five languages or knowledgeable guides are on hand for those who would like to learn more about the flora and fauna of the valley. Other activities available range from river gorge hiking to traditional music and dancing performances.

So, what are you waiting for. Hainan is begging for more visitors. And we’re ready to send you there!
