Our clients are back to exploring the world, and we’re so happy to send them getting out and about!

Travel is back, but it’s also still complicated, which may explain why we’re busier than ever. This year was all about milestones. To wit:

  • We booked our first clients to Antarctica, meaning that our clients visited each and every continent for the first time in 2022.

  • We booked travel for our first centenarian client. No, that’s not someone born in late December. That’s someone who’s at least 100 years old. Since we only use the last two years of a traveler’s birth year when booking an airline ticket, we had to confer with colleagues to ensure that we were issuing the ticket correctly — we wouldn’t want the airline to think that our client was an infant!

  • We were named “Agency of the Year” by Uniglobe Travel Center. Our Uniglobe family is so much more than just an organization that helps us leverage amenities and preferred pricing for our clients — they’re truly the best and most supportive group of independent business owners, and to be named Agency of the Year among 700 or so other businesses — well, we’re humbled and grateful.

  • Our team expanded! Mark and Jaime joined our team in 2022, and they’re coming out of the gate strong!

  • We, ourselves, traveled a lot. We hosted epic back-to-back trips to Machu Picchu and the Galápagos. Tom and David celebrated our partnership with Windstar Cruises on the President’s Cruise in French Polynesia. Erin took a phenomenal Christmas Market River Cruise on the Rhine. Michelle hosted a fun and sun group for Spring Break on the Mexican Riviera, and we all went to lots and lots of conferences.

And we spent a lot of time doing things that maybe weren’t so glamorous…like dealing with airline schedule changes, canceling and re-booking clients who pulled a positive COVID test, taking over administration of bookings from agencies that didn’t make it through the pandemic, and doing lots and lots of data entry to make sure everything was uploaded into our clients’ itinerary on the app.

But we love a challenge, and we’re not dwelling too much on 2022 — it was a great year for us, but we’ve already got some exciting things in store for 2023, and that’s what we’re thinking about now.

So, if you’re thinking about planning a trip for 2023 — drop us a line. We’d love to help!
