12 months, 82 countries, 6 continents
In case there’s any doubt — travel is back!
This year, our team sent clients to eighty-two countries across the globe. Our clients did polar expeditions and river cruises. We sent clients to the world’s most fabulous beaches and on treks to see gorillas. Our clients celebrated milestone birthdays in a 14th Century villa in Puglia, and with a long boozy lunch in Antibes. From Punta Cana to Punta del Este and Portofino to Puerto Rico, our clients saw the world this year. And we’re so grateful to have been able to make that possible.
We had a lot of firsts this year, as well!
Our first bookings to Taiwan, Uruguay, Rwanda and Svalbard.
Our first Hyatt Privé booking.
Our clients’ first circumnavigation of the globe.
Our first Mediterranean group. (Our 2020 group was thwarted by the pandemic).
Our first experiences traveling with a number of our preferred suppliers, including Aurora Expeditions, Star Clippers, Globus, Miraval, Cunard, and Rocky Mountaineer.
Our first clients visiting Iguazu Falls.
We celebrated the launch of our partners’ newest and most luxurious cruise ships, such as the Celebrity Beyond, the Oceania Vista, and Cunard LIne’s Queen Anne. We took more than 1,000 meetings with supplier partners — hoteliers, cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies, tourism boards, and other service providers. We attended the Uniglobe Conference, Virtuoso Travel Week, the American Society of Travel Advisors Global Convention, the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association Convention, and the International Luxury Travel Marketplace. In short — we were out and about in the industry to make those connections that support our clients’ travels.
It was a big year, for sure, but it doesn’t end with the end of the year. Already in 2024, we’ve confirmed bookings for nearly fifty countries, and we’ve got trips planned to Antarctica, the Canary Islands, and even a few more ‘round-the-world trips!
There are signs that “revenge travel” (i.e., making up for lost time during the Pandemic) is starting to wane, so pricing and availability might be better in 2024 than it’s been in the past couple of years, but we’d still recommend planning sooner, rather than later. There’s no such thing as a last-minute “deal” in our experience. Let us know if you’re ready to plan your next big adventure! (Or even a short getaway!)
