We’re so thrilled to announce that Mark Gazdik has joined the Huckleberry Travel team, as the newest rock star travel advisor in our agency. Welcome, Mark!

Mark has a deep resume in the travel industry, having spent much of his career working in the airline industry. We’re very fortunate to have his experience in that sector as an asset for our team, and we’re excited that he’s branching out to explore the wonderful world of leisure travel as a newly minted Huckleberry Travel advisor.

In Mark’s words:

When I studied European languages in college, it was hard to predict it would lead to parallel careers in travel and media & entertainment. Becoming an international flight attendant after study abroad programs in Iceland, Norway, and Soviet Moscow, I got to know huge numbers of airports, hotels, and destinations from Allentown to Zurich. High energy, outdoor activities, athletics, and deep intellectual curiosity have always been core to how I’ve built my own travel excursions. After a career on the supplier side, including several years working with travel advisors, I look forward to bringing that experience to building truly memorable and intricate experiences for Huckleberry’s clients. Mark is especially passionate about Scandinavian, Nordic and Baltic travel, and with expedition cruising to polar regions becoming more popular than ever (we aren’t going to say that it’s “hot” right now), there’s no better time to have someone with those passions joining our team. Of course, Mark would be more than happy to plan an authentic, immersive trip to any destination, but if you’re curious about Antarctica, Svalbard or the Faroe Islands — you should send Mark a note.
