welcome heather!

We’re super excited to announce that a fabulous new travel advisor has joined the Huckleberry Travel team! Heather Siperstein is the latest rock-star addition to our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her join us!

We asked Heather to give us a few words about her passion for travel, and this is what she had to say:

“Studying in Mexico at 20 woke me up to the big wide world and how much there was to learn and experience. ”

“I feel a sense of calm when my routine is upended and I’m in unfamiliar places, so I just kept going! Traveling gives me a valuable new perspective on other cultures as well as my own back home. I have also gained many friends along the way. I have worked for years as a chef, so I seek out street food everywhere I go! I love to share my excitement for exploration with fellow and future travellers! My favorite memories include eating pani puri in India, taking drumming classes in Ghana and sleeping in a hammock on the beach in Oaxaca.”

What Heather didn’t tell you is that she’s also a skilled pastry chef, with a serious resume in fine-dining establishments around the country. We suspect that she’ll be planning some really incredible trips with a culinary focus in the not-too-distant future.
