passport processing backlog

passport processing backlog

Passport offices across the country are getting backlogged, so if you’re hoping to travel this summer, you’d be well-advised to renew your passport now.

With the announcement that Europe will be re-opening to US travelers for the summer, and the surge of new bookings, there’s a huge backlog in the processing of new and renewal passports. If you are thinking about traveling in the next year internationally--make sure to get the passport renewal process started early to avoid travel delay.

Keep in mind that many countries require that you have at least six months of validity on your passport from your anticipated date of return to the US. So, you don’t have to wait until your passport actually expires in order to renew. The sooner you get your application in, the better off you’ll be!

And, if your passport is good to go, we’d love to make that booking for you, of course!
