Today is Cyber Monday, when on-line retailers slash prices for holiday shoppers. We highlighted some of our top travel gifts recently, but if you're looking for the perfect gift for the person who has everything (or the person who simply doesn't want more "stuff"), we think giving someone an actual vacation is a great idea.

Family Vacation

The holidays are a great time to connect with family, but sometimes, it's just not possible for everyone to get together in the same place at the same time. So, why not give your far-flung loved ones a gift of a family vacation. You can work out the schedule, later, but in the meantime, you can send (electronically, if need be) a travel gift card that they can use for spa treatments or shore excursions on that family cruise to Alaska you're planning. You don't get to see your family nearly often enough. Giving your family a vacation where you can all reconnect is maybe the best gift ever!

Winter Getaway

It's only just starting to get a little chilly, but trust us, by the time the holidays get here your friends are going to be thinking about how to escape the cold. Spring Break Trip

If you're looking for a gift for a student (or even a recent grad), giving a spring break trip to your favorite Millenial is a perfect gift idea. Money's often tight for young people, but they still love to travel. Sending them on a cruise or to an all-inclusive resort for a week will ensure that you're giving them a gift that you know they'll appreciate. Since many cruise lines and resorts have age restrictions for travelers (especially on Spring Break weeks), you'll want to book that trip with us, so that we can make sure that you're giving them a gift they can actually use!

Summer Vacation

If you'd like to give someone a head start on taking the trip of a lifetime, we've got some terrific tour operators that have very flexible policies on trip deposits. So, for example, say that you wanted to put a deposit down on an African safari, but you're not sure when the recipient of your gift would be able to take the trip. You could put down $250 on a trip that you selected for them with a company like G Adventures. Then, later on, if it turns out that they weren't able to go on that day, we could move the deposit over to different dates. Or, if it turns out that they'd rather go to Machu Picchu, instead, they could move that deposit to a completely different itinerary, entirely.
