...as mentioned in the new york times.

It’s no secret that people who have been unable to travel in 2020 are deciding to go big in 2021 and beyond.

Because of COVID-19, much of the travel industry has been forced to pivot away from international travel to focus on domestic destinations. And to be sure, we’ve heard from clients who are interested in learning more about domestic river cruises, in lieu of that Rhine or Danube cruise. National Parks are big, now, too—which is why we set out on our epic road trip earlier this summer. Yet, when we get calls from clients who are planning trips right now, increasingly, we’re hearing that they’re looking to check a box off on their bucket list.

So, when a reporter for the New York Times reached out to us recently to ask if we could put them in touch with clients who were planning to go big in 2021 or beyond, we didn’t have to look far. After all, we’ve got the Galápagos and Machu Picchu on tap for the Spring of 2021. And in August, we’re going to take another shot at Greenland (which, because of the pandemic, didn’t work out for us this year).

We put that reporter in touch with our client, Jill, who’s traveled with us before (ask her about the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, sometime), and Jill graciously shared her thoughts with the reporter. And…we got a shoutout in the Times, as a result!

We’re grateful to Jill for contributing to the story and sharing her (and our) passion for travel that’s authentic and destination-focused. And we’re proud to have our first mention in The Paper of Record.

Of course, if you’re planning to go big once you don’t have to stay home, we’re here for you. We’d love to talk to you about some of the hosted expeditions and excursions that we’ve got on tap for 2021 and beyond. Whether it’s a Christmas market river cruise, a taste of the Inca Trail, or sailing to a remote arctic destination, we can plan all of that and more. Gorilla treks in Uganda. Multi-sport adventures in New Zealand. A wellness retreat in Bhutan. An iconic rail journey on the Trans Siberian Railway. If you’re ready to meet the challenges of travel in this new day and age, we’re ready to make that happen for you.
