Guess what, everybody? Huckleberry Travel won the 2017 Rookie of the Year award for best new agency at the Uniglobe Travel Center Conference last week!

Uniglobe Travel Center is the "host agency" for Huckleberry Travel, as well as hundreds of other independent travel agencies. By being part of the Uniglobe family, we're able to leverage the strength of one of the most exclusive and well-respected host agencies to get the best pricing, service and amenities for our clients. And Uniglobe is no joke, either. Through them, we're part of the Ensemble Travel Group, the premiere consortium of travel agents; when you see that we're able to get you exclusive Ensemble Amenities on your trip, we've got Uniglobe to thank for that. And Uniglobe has been named "2017 Host Agency of the Year" by the American Society of Travel Agents ("ASTA"). So we're especially proud that we're among the best of the best this year!

So, why are we posting this on our site? Just to brag a little? Well, maybe. But honestly, there's something in it for our clients, too! We've only been able to be successful as the new kids on the block because we've had tremendous support from Uniglobe, and the network of other agents who are part of our Uniglobe family. And it's that network that gives us relationships with our preferred travel providers--the hotels and resorts, airlines, tour operators, cruise lines and other travel providers with which we do business. Our relationship with these companies benefits our clients, and to be a more visible presence within that network benefits our clients even more.

But most of all, we're grateful. We're grateful for the support we get from Uniglobe and the hundreds of other independent agencies in our Uniglobe family. We're grateful for the phenomenal support from our preferred travel providers. But most importantly, we're grateful for all of our clients who booked travel with us in our first year of business.
