booking travel for LGBTQ+ travelers
June is Pride Month, and it hasn’t escaped our attention that some companies are being targeted for their support of LGBTQ+ communities — especially transgendered, non-binary, or gender non-conforming people.
We find that opposition horrifying. And we’re not about to backtrack on our support for fundamental human rights.
We’re a gay-owned business, with a deep connection to the LGBTQ+ community. We’re proud members of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association, and we’re up-to-speed on the considerations that come into play when booking our LBGTQ+ travelers on incredible travel experiences.
Does your gender match what’s on your passport or driver’s license? If you don’t identify as the gender that’s on your official documentation, we’re mindful of reconciling that discrepancy when booking your travel.
Do you want to go to a fabulous beach resort, but you’re concerned that checking in with your same-sex partner might subject you to scrutiny, side-eye, or outright discrimination? We have relationships with suppliers we trust, like Delta Vacations, where the staff has been trained to accommodate LGBTQ+ travelers without difficulty.
Are you toying with booking a cruise, but you want to ensure that you’re going to be on a ship in the middle of the ocean with a cruise line that will support you if an issue arises? We know where to book you.
Hey! It’s Pride Month! We’re proud to be a gay-owned business, and we’re proud to partner with suppliers that respect diversity and inclusion, and most importantly— We’re proud, and very grateful, that our LGBTQ+ clients trust us to take care of them when they travel.
