Out of thousands and thousands of travel advisors across the country, our very own Erin Richards received Honorable Mention in the First Annual Agents of Change Awards sponsored by G Adventures. This is a really big deal to us. Not to toot our own horn, but we win awards all the time (ahem). But for Erin to win this award for her commitment to the values that we hold so strongly in our company — well, that’s something truly extraordinary. Go Erin!
And the recognition doesn’t stop there! Co-founder of Huckleberry Travel (and advisor) Tom Carpenter was selected by G Adventures to be one of only 15 advisors nationwide, to attend the G Adventures Changemakers Summit, this year. Tom will travel to Peru to visit the many projects that G Adventures and the Planeterra Foundation fund to support sustainable and responsible tourism in the region. We’ll do a deep dive into how we can use the power of travel to change the world for the better.
This won’t be the first time Tom’s visited G Adventures’ projects in the Sacred Valley of Peru. In fact — it’ll be his third!
