If you know anything about us, you know that we’re not about “getting a deal.” We don’t book the lowest common denominator, because our clients are never happy when we do that. Once, a honeymoon couple authorized us to book a pick-up truck for their rental car, and after the trip, they said, “We wish we’d spent a little bit more to get an actual car.”

But, just because we encourage our clients not to “cheap out” with their valuable vacation time, doesn’t mean that we’re not mindful of the ways we can maximize value and find the best-priced options for what you want to do. The best “deal” isn’t always the cheapest. It’s all a question of finding the best value.

So, if you’re someone who’s looking to go away this summer, you’ve got a problem. Airfares—especially to Europe—are ridiculously expensive compared to last year. And hotels are booking up fast.
