I don’t think any of us really understood the concept of “Wanderlust” until we were all suddenly staying home for months on end. If you’re feeling that way, too, we’ve got just the thing for you! Join us on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 7 p.m. Eastern/4 p.m. Pacific for a virtual night on the Danube river, hosted by Huckleberry Travel, in conjunction with Werkstatt, our favorite Austrian Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, and Crystal Cruises, one of our favorite partners for Danube River Cruises (as well as ocean, yacht, and expedition cruise travel)!

This event will be a really fun way to support small businesses like Huckleberry Travel and Werkstatt, while scratching that itch to get out and travel (at a time when we’re still not able to do that in real life).

If you’re in Brooklyn, here’s our suggestion: On Thursday, call Werkstatt and place an order by phone for pick-up. (They do delivery, of course, but take out is better for the restaurant—and we’re all about supporting small businesses, right?). Then, after you get home with your delicious food and drink from Werkstatt, fire up the computer and open up Zoom so that we can share our passion for the beautiful blue Danube, and what we think is the best way to experience it!

Of course, if you’re not in Brooklyn, we’d love for you to join us, just the same—if there’s not an Austrian restaurant near you that’s doing take-out, we’re sure that there’s a small local business doing take out that would be very grateful for your business. And we’d still love to share the fun with you, wherever you are!

The good folks at Werkstatt will be on hand with a fun cocktail demonstration, and to share their passion for Austrian food and drink. We’ll be on hand to tell you how you can support small businesses in your community like Werkstatt and Huckleberry Travel. And our partners at Crystal Cruises will join us to talk about how fabulous a river cruise on the Danube can be!
