We can't wait to go back to Argentina, which is why we've been browsing some incredible Latin America itineraries from some of our preferred travel providers. We stumbled upon a really fun luxury tour that explores the roots of gaucho culture in Argentina and Uruguay. We just had to share.

Here's the breakdown, day, by day.
Day 1
Arrive Buenos Aires
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, a city of grand architecture and European influences, you will be welcomed by your local representative and accompanied to your hotel.
Day 2
Buenos Aires
Discover the highlights of the "Paris of South America," including the Plaza de Mayo's cathedral and the Casa Rosada presidential palace. Continue to the docklands of Puerto Madero; La Boca with its multicolored houses and soccer stadium; the parks, gardens, and mansions of Palermo; and elegant Recoleta, home to the cemetery where many of the country's most famous sons and daughters (including Eva Peron) are laid to rest.
Day 3
Buenos Aires
Enjoy the morning at leisure. If you're feeling adventurous, cross the Rio de la Plata to the charming colonial city of Colonia in Uruguay. Or spend the day as a gaucho at a nearby estancia (ranch), complete with a traditional Argentinean BBQ.
This evening, head to the historic neighborhood of San Telmo for dinner and an authentic tango show
Day 4
To Mendoza
Enjoy the morning at leisure.
Then, fly west to the heart of Argentinean wine country in Mendoza where you will escorted to your hotel.
Day 5
Mendoza
After breakfast, set off on a full-day exploration of some of the most important wineries of the region. Enjoy a special guided tasting, learn about the unique Argentinean terroir, sample some of the world's best Malbecs and savor lunch in a scenic spot at one of the wineries before returning to Mendoza
Day 6
Mendoza
Enjoy the day at leisure. If you like, take one of several optional excursions, including a guided city tour or a journey to mighty Mount Aconcagua, which at nearly 23,000 feet is the highest peak in both South America and the Western Hemisphere.
Day 7
To Punta del Este / Jose Ignacio
Today, you fly to the international beach resort of Punta del Este in Uruguay via Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your hotel.
Day 8
Jose Ignacio
Spend the day exploring the beaches of Punta del Este. You'll also tour the town as well as the house of Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro, a private museum of contemporary Latin American art and a panoramic viewpoint. After lunch, savor a relaxing afternoon at the beach or exploring the town, and then return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 9
Jose Ignacio
Today, enjoy a full day of leisure at your hotel. Take a relaxing dip in the pool, stroll along garden pathways, or hit the nearby beaches. If you're in the mood for some pampering, spa services can be arranged. If you're up for adventure, embark on one of many optional activities that can be scheduled.
Day 10
Depart Jose Ignacio
Bid farewell to Uruguay today as you are escorted to the airport for your onward flight.
