giving thanks and giving back

This week is Thanksgiving in the US, so we feel compelled to share our gratitude to all of you who’ve trusted us to help plan your adventures around the world. We believe in the transformative power of travel, and the stories that you’ve brought back to us from your trips only confirms that our travel is more than just a vacation—it’s an opportunity to see the world we live in through a new lens. Traveling helps inform the way we think about our lives, and gives us an opportunity to make the world a better place.

So, we’re grateful to you, but we’re also looking to pay it forward. As part of our ongoing Huckleberry Travel Gives Back initiative, for any new booking made with us through the rest of the year, for an domestic trip, we'll be making a donation to the California Community Foundation, which has a top rating on Charity Navigator, and is aiding the relief effort for those affected by the devastating wildfires in California.

And, for any international booking made with us before the end of the year, we’ll be making a donation to the International Rescue Committee, which helps refugees who are caught in some of the world’s worst conflicts and crises to rebuild their lives, and which also has a top rating on Charity Navigator.
