hbt gives back: hurricane harvey relief

We're deeply concerned about the devastating flooding and loss of life in Texas, as a result of Hurricane Harvey. By all accounts, it will take many years before the communities affected by these floods are able to rebuild. But even more difficult, is to contemplate the lives that have been lost or severely disrupted by the aftermath of this massive and brutal storm.

Our monthly charity for the month of September, is Americares, which gets four stars from Charity Navigator as an organization that will make sure that your donation really goes to help people in need. For any vacation to a destination in a coastal area that we book in the month of September, we'll make a donation to Hurricane Harvey relief.

Of course, you don't need to book travel with us in order to give back. The New York Times posted a terrific article with links to lots of resources for people who are looking to help.  We encourage everyone to look for a way to help those whose lives have been forever changed by this horrible natural disaster.
