Join Huckleberry Travel as we sail into 2024 on the Mekong River.  Embarking in Siem Reap, Cambodia and disembarking 7 days later in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, unpack once, and explore these enigmatic countries by day while sailing in comfortable luxury at night.

Cruise along the Mekong through Cambodia and Vietnam as you are transported back in time to another era, where the rhythms of the countryside move at a slower pace and allow for a fascinating glimpse into a traditional way of life. Visit rural villages, colorful markets and a monastery, where you will receive a special Buddhist blessing by monks. Delve into the peaks and valleys of Cambodia’s history in the Royal Palace and National Museums of its beautiful capital, Phnom Penh. Witness skilled artisans who create exquisite handicrafts and delicacies, and be treated to authentic experiences, including rides via oxcart, tut tut and trishaw. On this transformative journey, the Mekong truly reveals a vibrant world along its shores.

 Itinerary:

  • Day 1 (Siem Reap/Kampong Cham): Transfer to Kampong Cham, EMBARKATION, Phnom Pros & Phnom Srei "Twin Mountain" visit. 

  • Day 2 (Ankgor Ban/Oknhatey Village): Shore excursions include: walking tours, village tours and elementary school visit

  • Day 3 (Phenom Penh/Oudong/Kampong-Tralach): Cruising, tuk-tuk tours, Buddhist blessing ceremony and walking tour, oxcart rides

  • Day 4 (Phnom Penh): Killing Fields & Genocide Museum, Royal Palace & National  Museum OR Royal Palace & Central Market

  • Day 5 (Border Crossing): Visa Information - Exit Point from Cambodia: Koh Rokar, Entry Point to Vietnam: Song Tien Landport

  • Day 6 (Tan Chau): Craftsmen's workshops - trishaw ride & active walking tour to/of Evergreen Island OR Tram Chim National Park

  • Day 7 (Sa Dec/Cai Be): Boat ride, local market, Cao Dai Temple, local workshops OR local workshop visits & active walking tour to historic Kiet Old House

  • Day 8 (Ho Chi Minh): Disembarkation at My Tho - transfers to Ho Chi Minh City

Elegance reigns supreme while you gaze at the scenic landscapes of Vietnam and Cambodia from spacious staterooms, all featuring both French and outside balconies! Hungry?  Head to either the Mekong restaurant or at the Chef’s Table – an amazing multi-course tasting menu experience – and delight in sumptuous dishes showcasing the very best of both regional and Western cuisine.  Mimosas at breakfast, local beers and wine at lunch and dinner, and cocktails at sundown are all included – and yes, Singapore Slings, Yuzu Martinis, and Soju will be enjoyed!

 All cabins are exterior and feature twin balconies (one French, one outside), individually controlled A/C, private bathroom, writing desk, mini-bar, and satellite TV.  Enjoy the scenery from your sitting area or your outside balcony.  A pool, two restaurants, the lounge, spa, and fitness center are available for the use of all guests.
